The New Lawyers Section is excited to partner with Minnesota law schools—specifically their First-Generation Student Organizations—to host an engaging and welcoming networking mixer for first-generation law students. This event is designed to foster meaningful connections by bringing together new lawyers and first-gen students in a relaxed, social setting. Students will have the chance to meet practicing attorneys, build their professional networks, hear about early-career experiences, and explore potential mentorship opportunities. To ensure easy access for students traveling by public transit, the mixer will be held at Crooked Pint Ale House. We strongly encourage all New Lawyers Section members to attend so students can connect with you and gain valuable insights as they enter the profession. A portion of registrations will be limited to first generation law students from the three local law schools, and the remaining spots will be available for new lawyers.
